EU has enforced RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive since 1st, July, 2006, which requires that eight electrical and electronic equipments must comply with the strict Directive regulations limiting presence of mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), cadmium (CD), hexavalent chromium (Cr6 +), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) to certain levels.

CVC can not only provide you with safety and performance testing, but also testing for RoHS compliance including material analysis, content of hazardous substances for materials, electric components/parts and final appliances, and issue conformity certificate which is accepted by EU and in compliance with the RoHS Directive.

CVC has started the RoHS test business since 2000.CVC takes part in the IEC TC 111 work group to draw the RoHS directive and WEEE directive, and held several international conference with Germany Government on reply to RoHS directive. With 10-year's testing experience, CVC now has been accredited by China CNAS and Germany DAR, as well as by China Product Certification Centre (CQC).
